Save Earth Notes is an interactive WebAR experience that transforms a real-world Earth-shaped object into a digital message board for climate action.

Using 8th Wall’s Visual Positioning System (VPS), the experience anchors eco-themed notes around the physical object. These notes offer real, practical suggestions, from using less plastic to choosing public transport.

Visitors aren’t just readers, they become contributors. By tapping empty points around the Earth, users can create their own note, choose a style, and submit it via a virtual keyboard. Notes are saved live through a custom backend powered by Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
